However.... -the pen is too long and the clip too short to be secured in a shirt pocket. --I've barely started using it and it's already drying out. --Pairing an extremely lightweight pen with a nib style that requires a light touch, didn't work for me, as a lefty accustomed to pushing the pen across the paper at an angle that causes scratchiness with the Curvapen. I would love to see this pen with a brass barrel and cap, or at least a brass-lined barrel and cap.

It seems to be a very expensive pen. The longer quill causes it to make a scirtching noise, similar to an old fashioned feather quill would have aybe a heavier duty quill barrel?). The point will not write in any extreme angle, so a left hander like myself has to change my hand position to make it work. I like the idea that when I run out of ink it is refillable.

It's great for writing! It's smooth and you can hold it so that the width will change. In fact, the only drawback I have is that I wish it were retractable. It is going to be easy to lose the cap. (I realize that, without a way to seal it up, the ink can dry out, but I seem to remember a Sharpie retractable. I don't know how they manage to seal those so that the ink doesn't dry. I also remember a retractable fountain pen.)
